Black Lives Matter Event – Sign Up to Speak Out

This event will include speak-outs, virtual small group discussions, a viewing of the March on Washington, voter registration, and an opportunity to learn about cultural clubs on campus. Also, there will be stations at the bookends of the JAYwalk with sweet treats to pass out in lieu of Day on the JAY. This event is a collaboration with OMSA and student organizations.

If you would like to speak out at the event, please sign up today: https://bit.ly/owublmspeakout. The speak-out portion of the event will begin at 2 pm. To ensure the safety of everyone, we ask that you please sign up in advance – it is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your voice is important. You can speak in person or by calling in, and we will raise the phone to the microphone.

We please ask each person to speak for a maximum of 5 minutes to allow more members of the OWU community to participate. If you have any questions, email Dina Daltorio at dmdaltor@owu.edu.

More information about joining the virtual sessions can be found here https://bit.ly/owuwelcomeweek2020
