We are casting and assembling a backstage crew for an immersive production of Madeline Sayet’s Daughters of Leda. We are excited to begin a collaborative, equitable, power-sharing, and inclusive rehearsal process, beginning on Wednesday, September 1, and 4 performances from Thursday, October 7 to Saturday, October 9.
We aim to assemble a radically representative ensemble for this production. BIPOC performers, disabled performers, gender non-binary performers, performers with a first language other than English, and LGBTQIA performers are all encouraged to audition or submit interest in participating in our backstage crews. First-time performers and crew members are welcome!
No preparation is needed for the group audition. There are two available times, as listed below; please plan to be there the whole time. If you are interested only in serving backstage, please complete this form. If there are conflicts with auditions/callbacks, please contact stage manager Chloe Williams at clwilliams@owu.edu.
If you need anything from us in order to fully participate in this event, please contact the director, Cortney Knipp, at cemceniry@owu.edu, or contact Accessibility Services, slrowlan@owu.edu, 740-368-3990. Please reach out at least 24 hours prior to the auditions.
