April 7 – Blackboard Release Updates

Educators consider many areas as they design high-quality, engaging courses. This release features improvements for instructors and students around assessment. Other features focus on intuitive and time saving workflows and surfacing data insights.

The April 2022 – 3900.37 release includes several new features.

Instructors:

● flexible question presentation including one question at a time
● efficiency for content creation via content duplication (granular content copy within the current Ultra course)
● improved control over when students’ see assessment results, which helps with academic integrity
● choice and control for grades auto-posting
● the calculated numeric question type supports assessment across various disciplines
● download assessment results to support external analysis and evaluation
● reporting for submission receipts for easier student support
● improved access to the Course Activity Related to Grades report

Instructors and students:

● code snippet option in the rich text editor to add value in programming, logic, math, and other computing courses
● In-Product updates and user engagement surveys a to support client feedback
● Session time-out warnings for Original Courses to help prevent loss of authored content

Students:

● greater insights with improved access to the How Am I Doing? performance report
