The City of Delaware is scheduled to shut off the water on a portion of Park Avenue from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, to install a new valve on Washington Street. The shut-off will affect Beeghly Library, Chappelear Drama Center, and the Early Childhood Center.
Restrooms will not be accessible during the work, and the buildings will be under a 48-hour boil order after water is restored. Information about the shut-off will be posted on the building doors, and water fountains will be bagged during the boil advisory.
