Please join the English Department on Thursday, April 4, from 4:15-5:15 p.m. in Corns 312 to hear Professor Zack Long speak as our distinguished 2023-2024 Benjamin T. Spencer Lecturer. A member of the OWU faculty since 2007, Long specializes in the literature and culture of the English Renaissance, especially Shakespeare. His research interests include memory studies, trauma theory, and early modern ideas about the mind-body. The title of his presentation is “This Distracted Globe: Hamlet and the Renaissance Memory Theatre.”
