Tickets are on sale now for the final show of the Central Ohio Symphony’s 40th season. The concert, “Local Focus Presented by PNC Arts Alive,” will feature five artists with Delaware connections, including 2 OWU alumni and a former music professor.
Alumnus Jacob Miller ’16, now a doctoral student at Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, will make his professional debut as soloist on George Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F.
In addition compositions by alumna Lauren Spavelko ’11 (Kéyah) and by former composition professor Jennifer Jolley (Blue Glacier Decoy) will accompany the world premiere of the film Expedition by Frank Ruggles, a Delaware Hayes High School graduate and first Artist Ambassador to the National Parks Trust.
The Central Ohio Symphony concert will take place Saturday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m. in Gray Chapel. Tickets may be purchased at the Symphony Source office, 24 E. Winter Street; online at www.centralohiosymphony.org; or at the box office the night of the concert. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for senior citizens, $6 for students of all ages and $4 for children.
