Beginning with a viewing of the documentary “No Place to Grow” and a subsequent Q&A with the director, Michelle Aguilar, as well as a few OWU professors, we will introduce food insecurity by examining what it looks like on a national level with this story about a community garden in Santa Cruz, CA, fighting against gentrification. Afterward, we will look at food insecurity from a local level by bringing in a nearby community garden and including them in the Q&A.
