The Black Student Union is thrilled to announce “Da Cookout,” our annual end-of-the-year event in collaboration with CPB and WCSA! As the academic year draws to a close and the pressures of exams loom, we believe it’s essential to provide a space where everyone can come together to unwind, celebrate, and build connections. “Da Cookout” promises a day filled with laughter, camaraderie, fun-filled activities, thrilling games, music, tie-dye, performances, delicious free food, and an exciting obstacle course.
“Da Cookout” is more than just a party—it’s a community-building event open to everyone on campus and the entire Delaware community. We aim to foster a sense of community and inclusivity, welcoming neighbors, community centers, and families from across Delaware to join in the festivities. It is an event not just for students, but for our amazing faculty and staff as well. Faculty and staff are encouraged to bring their families and friends, creating an inclusive atmosphere where everyone can come together to celebrate the end of another successful school year.
