As a part of our annual Green Month film showing, join the Ohio Wesleyan Department of Environment and Sustainability and Strand Theatre for an exclusive showing of Common Ground.
Common Ground is the sequel to the highly successful Kiss the Ground, a film that inspired the U.S. Department of Agriculture to invest $20 billion toward soil health. The film “unveils a dark web of money, power, and politics behind our broken food system and “profiles a hopeful and uplifting movement of white, black, and indigenous farmers who are using alternative ‘regenerative’ models of agriculture that could balance the climate, save our health, and stabilize America’s economy.” Doors open @ 6 p.m. and the film starts @ 6:30. Please RSVP with the following link by April 9 to receive a free ticket, drink, and choice of snack (https://forms.gle/cwgWowEYgkgarqXm6). Hope to see you there!
