On April 13 in Jemison Auditorium from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., please join voice faculty member, soprano Jennifer Whitehead, with guests mezzo-soprano Carolyn Redman and pianist Scott Ewing, as they present WE ARE WOMEN – a staged opera scene recital featuring the music of Bernstein, Gluck, Handel, Humperdinck, Mozart and Offenbach. The concert is directed by Laura Portune and will feature the always-entertaining Christopher Purdy, renowned central Ohio radio host of Classical 101 WOSU FM as emcee, discussing the role of gender in opera.
