2 Positions for First-Generation Students: Annual Giving Engagement Intern and Annual Giving Communication Intern
The Engagement intern position is great for a student who wishes to expand their communication skills. In this role, the intern will have a chance to communicate with a wide variety of constituents, including alumni, parents, and donors through writing, phone calls, and video recording. The intern will learn how to manage our processes of thanking first-time donors and communicating with our most recent alumni.
The Communication Intern partners with Annual Giving staff to craft compelling communications for a variety of audiences and through multiple platforms to raise essential support for Ohio Wesleyan. This position also supports all Team OWU athletic fundraising communications needs. If you’d like to hone your communication skills and build your resume, this role is for you! 1 Position for Legacy Students: Annual Giving Student Philanthropy Intern:
The Student Philanthropy intern helps create and share information with all OWU students about philanthropy and how it impacts their education. They will assist with student-focused events and opportunities through Annual Giving. The ideal applicant will have a passion for fundraising, strong communication skills, and be comfortable engaging with students, staff, and alumni. The Signature Programs Intern supports two of Ohio Wesleyan’s signature fundraising programs: the 50th alumni reunion celebration and the annual day of giving, We Are OWU.
