From AI-enabled support pathways to personalized wellness resources and tailored career-readiness tools, artificial intelligence is reshaping how students navigate their journey campuswide. As we adopt emerging technologies and new expectations, it’s essential to align innovation with our institutional values – advancing equitable acc ess, protecting student privacy, and fostering a supportive environment for every learner.
This year, our campus is participating in AI Ready, a national initiative through the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) that provides monthly webinars for faculty, staff, and administrators seeking a foundational understanding of generative AI. The focus is on applications more than implications – offering practical strategies you can implement now.
March’s topic is Student Affairs, Mental Health, and Career Services, with a three-part webinar series held on three Thursdays in March. Each one-hour session will explore real-world use cases, potential ethical considerations, and institutional strategies related to learning with AI.
