Study away/ abroad is a transformative experience for any student and a hallmark program within The OWU Connection. Students are eligible to study away once they have reached their “junior year” (+15 units of credit), are in good academic status, with clearance from the bursar and conduct.
If you are planning to study off-campus during the 2021-2022 academic year, please follow these steps to prepare for your time away:
1. Complete Round 1 on-line training – http://bit.ly/OWUstudyaway (this is a Google slide presentation that you can view at any time)
2. Schedule a meeting with the assistant director of IOCP, Lisa Ho. Scheduling link – https://bit.ly/2UcTUPc
3. Search for your desired program at owu.studioabroad.com
4. Select your program and click “Apply Now” to begin your OWU Leave Application
