The CDC recommends that anyone over the age of 6 months old that doesn’t have a life-threatening allergy to one of the flu shot’s ingredients, should get the flu vaccine. It is particularly important this winter so as to lighten the load on hospitals during COVID-19. If you are unsure whether or not to get your flu shot, consult a healthcare provider.
If you were unable to attend a flu shot clinic, have no fear! The Student Health Center is still offering FREE flu shots to students. To schedule an appointment for a flu shot, call (740) 368-3160 during our regular hours, Monday through Thursday between 8am and 4:30 pm.
