Oct. 25 – Facebook Live “In The Studio”

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and in response to President Jones’ and OWU’s anti-racist commitments, the Ross Art Museum is launching a group of short online programs. Join three artists as they share their thinking about black lives, ancestry, and legacy in their studio practices. Each of these programs will be taking place on FB Live @RossArtMuseum and will last 20-30 minutes.

Join us for our first In the Studio visit with Darryl DeAngelo Terrell this Sunday, Oct. 25 @ 2pm. Terrell works with lens-based media. They say: “I’m always thinking about how my work can aid a larger conversation about blackness and its many intersectionalities,” Terrell continues, “My work explores the displacement of black and brown people, femme identity and strength, the black family structure, sexuality, gender, safe spaces for all black bodies, and personal stories, all while keeping in mind the accessibility of art.”
