The American Legion Department of Ohio is inviting the OWU community to give blood at a drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 23 at its headquarters off Route 36 at 60 Big Run Road, Delaware.
The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime. Each unit of blood can save up to 3 lives.
