Help us welcome the Class of 2024 during their “First Lap” on today, Aug. 19. We are asking Staff and Faculty to create a Welcome Tunnel (while social distancing, of course) on either side of the JAYwalk starting at Slocum Hall down to Sandusky, and then from Corns up to HWCC, lining both sides of the walkway. We are asking that all are in place to form the Welcome Tunnel at 4:30 p.m. New students will start on their first lap shortly after that time once they hear a welcome message from Rock on Merrick Lawn.
It’s one of only two times the incoming class will cross Sandusky together, with the other being at Graduation rehearsal. I hope you will join in welcoming the class to campus Wednesday afternoon.
