Religious Life Awardees

Each year, the Chaplain’s Office recognizes students, faculty, and staff who have made a significant contribution to the spiritual and ethical life of Ohio Wesleyan University through our Religious Life Awards. We are pleased to announce this year’s recipients who will also be recognized at the annual Baccalaureate service.

  • Jenelle Collier and Kayla Adolph–The Chaplain James Leslie Award for outstanding leadership in Peace and Justice.
  • Ahmed Hamed–The Bliss and Mildred Wiant Award for outstanding leadership in Interfaith and Intercultural Understanding.
  • Sarah Holmes and Hanna Cordes–The Bishop F. Gerald Ensley Award for outstanding leadership in Christian Missional Activity.
  • Alexis Thomas–The President Arthur F. Flemming Award for outstanding leadership in Civic Arts.
  • Mary Ellen Haskett–The Taban Blake Award for outstanding Servant Leadership.
  • Bridget Roddy–The Dr. Cheryl McGinnis Award for outstanding leadership in the Catholic Community.
  • Dr. Carl Pace–The Bishop Francis Emner Kearns Award for a faculty member who exemplifies the historic mission of Ohio Wesleyan to offer “a quality of scholarship, leadership, and service that enriches for Church and society.”
  • Lisa Ho–The Robert and Bette Meyer Award for an employee who exemplifies the historic mission of Ohio Wesleyan to offer “a quality of scholarship, leadership, and service that enriches for Church and society.”
