Since 2017, the Global Liberal Arts Alliance has partnered with Deree-The American College of Greece to participate in the annual International New York Times Athens Democracy Forum held each fall in Athens, Greece.
OWU will nominate two students to participate in the ADF, and a GLCA committee will choose one of those nominees. Travel, lodging, and most meals will be paid for by the GLCA and OWU. Please send any and all questions and completed applications to our GLCA liaison Dr. Nancy Comorau by May 6 at nacomora@owu.edu. Dr. Comorau will assist students in their application process and forward nominations to the provost, who will choose OWU’s nominees.
