Interested in travel? Love writing? Wondering how to turn your liberal arts skills into an exciting career? Travel writer and OWU alumnus Cameron Hewitt will talk about how he uses the skills he developed right here on campus in his career tomorrow, November 15, at 12:10 p.m. in Merrick 202. We’ll have pizza (regular and gluten free) and a lively talk including a Q&A.
Cameron has traveled to and written about more than 40 different European countries (including co-authoring books on Iceland, Scotland, Greece, Barcelona, Berlin, Switzerland, European cruise ports, and more). Cameron also contributes to Rick Steves’s newspaper articles and op-eds, television scripts, and radio program; takes photographs that appear throughout Rick Steves’s Europe’s content; regularly presents travel talks; and blogs about his travels at https://blog.ricksteves.com/cameron.
