The Registrar’s Office is in search of a student volunteer to assist with this year’s Commencement Ceremony.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
– Guarding the diplomas and the University Bell prior to the ceremony
– Taking description notes for the photographer and crossing off the names of students who chose not to attend
– Assist on stage with the diplomas during the ceremony
– Assist the photographer with the student prep prior to having their picture taken (moving the tassel the left, etc)
Volunteers report to the Office of the Registrar, University Hall room 007 on Saturday, May 11 at 11 a.m. The ceremony starts at 1 p.m. and usually ends around 3:30 p.m. Volunteers should be prepared to stay for the duration. Proper attire – Black dress pants and a red or black blouse. No t-shirts or jeans please. Snacks and water will be provided by the Registrar’s Office.
