My name is Sarah Mattick and I am a senior PG major pursuing Departmental Honors notation for graduation through the Politics & Government Department. My research thesis title is “Perceptions of General Campus Climate from a Conservative Student Perspective,” where general campus climate (GCC) is a measure used to determine how comfortable or uncomfortable individuals and groups are engaging with the campus community. My goal is to determine to what degree do non-liberal students feel that they are unable to engage with the campus either in the classroom or in their social lives.
