This week the Science Lecture Series welcomes OWU students Serena George (’19) and Abbi Turner (’20) for a presentation entitled “Conserving Natural Heritage Through Wildlife Rehabilitation: Success and Setbacks.” This presentation will cover a recent trip by both students to Africa that was funded by a Theory-to-Practice Grant, and it will conclude with a video conference with the owners of the rehabilitation center where Serena and Abbi worked.
The presentation will occur on Thurs., Oct. 18 at 4:10 p.m. in SCSC, Room 163.
