Engage Diversity Course: WLC 260 Hispanic and Latine Voices

Are you looking for an upper-level course with no prerequisites that fulfills the Engage Diversity core competency? Check out WLC 260: Hispanic and Latine Voices in U.S. Culture, Literature, and Film, a course taught in English that counts as an elective toward the following majors/minors: Spanish, Film Studies, and Latin American and Latine Studies. The course explores what it means to identify as Hispanic or Latine, whether there is such a thing as “latinidad,” and how Latine writers, filmmakers, and artists push back against discrimination and oppression to find their voice.  Any questions?
