This Sunday, Oct. 18, Preservation Parks of Delaware County will hold its annual Trick or Treat Trail event at Gallant Woods Park north of town. They need volunteers to hand out candy to cute little kiddos along a trail in the woods, or do other things like help people vote for their favorite scarecrow, or help kids decorate pumpkins with stickers. It’s a lot of fun!
The event is from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Dr. Harmon (Physics and Astronomy) is organizing OWU’s participation and will drive an OWU van to provide transportation to anyone who cannot provide their own. The van will depart from the Smith parking lot turnaround at 12:15 p.m. If you have a kid-friendly costume please wear it, but if you don’t have a costume that’s OK.
If you are interested, you can sign up here. The kids and families will all be very grateful!
