The Astronomy Club is a very relaxed space for students to share their love of the universe. With meetings and occasional trips to Perkins Observatory, this club is low-key and enjoyable for everyone. No previous knowledge of space is required to participate.
The club will involve discussions, movie nights, planned events, and trips to the observatory with lectures hosted by Dr. Harmon, the club’s adviser. These lectures are more than casual and provide the chance for students to get a hands-on experience viewing the night skies.
Join us along with Horizons this Friday, Sept. 25, for Mid Autumn Festival! We will bring a telescope and will be able to look at the moon and planets.
