Parking Permit Sales and Parking Enforcement

If you haven’t applied for your 2026-2027 student parking permit, please submit your application again using this link: https://www.tocite.net/owu/portal/permit.

If you have problems submitting information, please contact the Public Safety Office at psafetly@owu.edu so that we can work with our vendor to resolve them.

As you return to OWU, here is basic information about on-campus parking:

PARKING ENFORCEMENT

The Department of Public Safety extends some leniency with parking regulations, but it’s important to follow all guidelines to ensure that our parking system successfully accommodates our students, parents, faculty/staff, and guests.

  • Parking enforcement begins Aug. 26, 2026, for employee (E or A) spaces, but enforcement begins immediately for accessibility spaces, unmarked areas (including parking on lawns), loading zones, fire lanes, and 24/7 restricted/reserved spaces.

  • Full residential parking enforcement begins Sept. 2, 2026. Vehicles without a valid 2026 permit will begin receiving citations for parking in student spaces on this date.
  • Students with state-issued accessibility placards (issued to you, not a relative) may use any accessibility space on campus.
  • See OWU’s Parking Policies for a comprehensive list of regulations and procedures, including more information on how to purchase a permit or appeal a citation.
  • Students who purchase OWU parking permits will receive them in their campus mailboxes in the lower level of Hamilton-Williams Campus Center.
Thank you and have a great semester!
