Campus Operations Notification: AEP is scheduled to shut off electricity to central and academic campus between 1:30 and 5:30 p.m. Friday, July 31, to complete necessary maintenance work. Power will be shut off between South Liberty and South Henry streets, including the SLUs, Selby Stadium, and all buildings in between.
Residential halls and other facilities on the west side of South Liberty Street, including Sanborn Hall, will not be affected by the July 31 planned power outage.
To create as little disruption as possible, OWU Facilities worked with AEP to schedule the outage for the afternoon of the final day of summer hours, when most offices are closed already.
