The Student Assistantship Program (StAP) and Legacy Internships are now open for student applications for the 2026-2027 academic year! These programs offer PAID on-campus positions during the academic year. A list of available positions can be found on the Student Jobs Website here!
StAP positions are open to any student who meets the requirements below. Please apply to both ADP and the StAP Student Application here.
Legacy positions are open to Legacy students (which means you’ve had a sibling, cousin, aunt, uncle, parent, step-parent, grandparent, or step-grandparent graduate from OWU). Please apply both to ADP as well as the Legacy Student Application here.
Qualifications:
- All Majors are welcome to apply.
- Open to rising Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors (not Spring 2026 graduates).
- The minimum GPA required to apply for a position is 2.50.
- Applicants must be available for an interview during the spring application period
- A student may not be employed in the same or similar position more than once.
- The program is open to all students regardless of financial need.
- Students are able to work an additional on-campus job; however, they are not permitted to work over 20 hours per week. Interns cannot be an RA at the same time due to the responsibilities of an RA.
