The OWL, OWU’s own literary and arts journal, is now accepting submissions!
- Email your submissions to owlmag@owu.edu by Friday, March 6.
Submission Guidelines:
- Fiction: up to 2,000 words
- Nonfiction: up to 2,000 words
- Poetry: up to 5 pages
- Screenwriting: up to 10 pages
- Visual Art: up to 3 submissions (art submissions will also be considered for the journal’s cover design)
- Academic Writing: up to 2,000 (and up to 3 figures)
What to include in your submission email:
- Your OWU email address and the genre you are submitting for.
- Attach written work as a Word document.
- Attach visual art image files as a JPG.
- Include your name in the file name!
Note: We do not accept AI-generated submissions.
