HWCC Upper and Lower Parking Levels to Close for Community Event

On Monday, Jan.19, Ohio Wesleyan University will host the 33rd annual MLK Breakfast Celebration from 9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. This well-attended community event draws a large crowd of visitors to campus, and to accommodate guests with mobility issues, the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center (HWCC) upper and lower parking levels will be closed for normal use from Jan. 18 at 10 p.m. to Jan. 19 at 11 a.m.

OWU employees, students, and contractors must refrain from parking in the lower and upper tiers of the parking lot during this time. The parking area at the west end of the HWCC lot will remain open and should be saved for employees who must park at Hamilton-Williams. The Corns lot should be limited to colleagues with accessibility issues.

All other campus parking lots will remain open, and our current parking policy will be in effect (see OWU Parking Zones for details). Expect higher parking demand in lots near HWCC.

Thank you for your help in ensuring the success of this significant community event.
