America in the Sixties, Dr. St. Angelo; MW 2:10-3:30 p.m.
The course examines the major political, social, cultural, diplomatic, and economic developments of the period, with special emphasis on the Vietnam War, the civil rights movement, and other social movements (women and youth in particular). Advanced knowledge of U.S. history is not required or expected.
