Dear Faculty, the timely submission of your midterm grade estimates is critical for student success, retention, and academic planning. Prompt reporting allows the Office of the Registrar to accurately update student records, enables faculty advisors to guide students effectively for spring registration, and triggers important mid-semester interventions for students who need academic support.
Midterm grade estimates for full semester courses are due by 4:30 PM EDT on Monday, October 13, 2025.
Q. How do I submit midterm grade estimates for my full semester courses?
- Log into OWU Self-Service.
- Hover over the Classes tab at the top and select Course Management from the dropdown menu.
- Select the course section you wish to grade.
- Click Overall Grades on the left.
- REMINDER: Midterm grade estimates use their own scale. Do not assign standard letter grades.
- For each student, assign a midterm grade estimate from the drop-down list in the Submitted midterm grade column. (The Tab key is helpful for moving between fields.)
- Click the Save button at any point to save your progress.
- Once you have finished entering and confirming all estimates, you must click the button to finalize your submission.
