The Department of World Languages and Cultures, in collaboration with students from Professor Nieto’s class Women and Power in Early Modern Spain, invites you to the performance Historias amorosas no tan ejemplares, by Mexican artists Paola Izquierdo.
Based on novels by 17th-century writer María de Zayas y Sotomayor, this one-woman cabaret-style show explores love—and horror—stories whose protagonists manage to survive. The play will be in Spanish.
