Feb. 5 @ Noon – My Major Doesn’t Sound Like a Job Title

Have you ever been asked, “What will you do with THAT major?” When a job or internship says “open to students in all majors,” do you stress about how to demonstrate relevant and transferrable skillsets? On Wednesday, Feb. 5, noon – 1 p.m. in Slocum 201,  join our discussion with 4 panelists who will share:

  • How they parlayed their majors into great jobs and careers — even though those majors did NOT sound like job titles.
  • How to articulate transferrable skills gained from your major and other experience to prospective employers.
  • Ways to identify opportunities you are qualified for that require those same skill sets.

LUNCH INCLUDED. Register on Handshake.

This workshop is co-sponsored by Career Connection and Bishop Elevate.
