Feb. 20 @ Noon – Intersection of Environmental & Racial Justice, Merrick 301

On Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, at noon in Merrick Hall 301, the History, Politics & Government, and Sociology & Anthropology departments will host a panel discussion, “The Intersection of Environmental and Racial Justice” with Nadia Kim, Ph.D., joining local panelists, Laurie Anderson, Ph.D. (Professor of OWU Biological Sciences), Jen Miller (Executive Director, League of Women Voters of Ohio), and Ashley Toenjes, Ph.D. (Professor of OWU Environment & Sustainability) to further discuss the lecture information presented by Kim during Feb. 19th’s Lecture “Refusing Death.”

This discussion is free and open to the public. Light Refreshments will be provided, but please feel free to bring your lunch with you.
