OWL is a summer residential (3 weeks) and day (2 weeks) camp for gifted and talented students in grades 5 – 8 held on the OWU campus each June and July.
Requirements to be a Residential or Day camp counselor:
Residential:
- must have completed their college freshman year by June 2025.
- must be available June 6-26, 2025.
- Residential applicants are eligible to work both camps.
Day:
- must be 16 years old before the first day of camp.
- must be available June 30-July 10, 2025.
Both will need to apply starting Nov. 18, 2024. Earlier applicants may be interviewed first. The online application is here (https://bit.ly/OWLcounselor2025).
