Join the Service Engagement and Leadership house for an incredible house project addressing period poverty in the central Ohio region! Leyna will be collecting menstrual products from Nov. 11 through Nov. 22 (donations can be dropped off at SEAL SLU or reach out to Leyna at lbkirsh@owu.edu and they will arrange for your products to be picked up).
All proceeds will be donated to the Period Pantry in Columbus. Interested in learning more about menstrual health and period poverty? Join us for an info night on Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. Don’t forget to bring your donations!
Accepted donations include:
- opened and unopened boxes of pads and tampons
- unused menstrual cups and discs
- unused menstrual underwear
NOT accepted donations include:
- products that are not individually packaged
- scented products
- incontinence pads/underwear
- products that are over 5 years old
- anything that has been used
