OWU is pleased to provide transportation for students who are registered to vote here in Delaware County and who want to do so on Election Day. On Tuesday, Nov. 5, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., you can catch a ride to one of the polling locations for OWU students.
- Pick up and drop off is at the roundabout between Ham-Wil and Chappelear Drama Center.
- The shuttle will leave every 15 minutes. The last shuttle to the polls will depart at 4 p.m.
- Check your polling location before you head out: (use the address at which you are registered to vote). OWU dorms have multiple polling locations.
- Bring one of the accepted types of identification: an unexpired Ohio driver’s license, Ohio identification, US military identification, US Veterans Affairs ID card, US passport, or US passport card. You will not be able to vote on Election Day if you don’t have one of these IDs.
For more information visit OWU’s Election Information website. There, you will find explanations of election integrity, ballot preparation, and media coverage of election results. The website is a one-stop shop for your voting concerns. Contact Dr. Mack if you have any questions.
Make your voice heard on Election Day. Your vote matters!
