We are sad to share that former OWU staff member Donna Tucker Savely, 86, passed away earlier this month. She had recently moved to Sebring, Florida, from Delaware, Ohio, where she resided for over 60 years.
Donna worked at Ohio Wesleyan from 1962 until 2011, working in various roles and creating lifelong friendships.
Her family shares that Donna was a passionate advocate for animal welfare, particularly focusing on rescuing dogs.
Please join us in offering our sincere condolences to Donna’s husband of nine years, James Savely, and her daughter, Amy Tucker Kester ’84. Donna was preceded in death by loved ones including daughter and OWU alumna Karen M. (Tucker) Dyches-Pennington ’81.
