Building & Grounds will undertake two construction and repair projects beginning this week. The sites will be fenced and some work-related noise is expected, but Buildings & Grounds will make every effort to minimize disruptions.
Project 1: Outside the R.W. Corns Building. Crews will create an exterior chase (an area to contain pipes and wires) outside Corns 202. The work will affect the west entrance (facing Beeghly Library) and a portion of the sidewalk leading to the JAYwalk. This project will begin Thursday and continue for several weeks.
Project 2: Near the Clock Tower south of Sturges Hall. Crews will dig up and patch a steam line from a manhole near the clock. This project will begin Friday take about three weeks to complete.
Please stay clear of the fenced construction zones at all times. Thank you for your patience as Buildings & Grounds works to improve the OWU campus for everyone.
