For the first event of Green Week, the ENVS Department will be providing tickets to a special showing of “Kiss the Ground.” This showing will take place on April 17 at 5:30 p.m. at the Strand Theatre. All those who fill out the form will receive an OWU deal, meaning that they will receive a ticket to the showing/panel discussion as well as a small popcorn and small drink.
This film is being showcased as a part of the Strand Theatre’s meaningful movies series with a special focus on climate change and the environment. This film specifically surrounds “Activists, scientists, farmers, and politicians” as they “turn to regenerative agriculture to save the planet’s topsoil, and combat climate change.”
