Feb. 28 @ 12 p.m. – Celebrating Black Excellence in Research Series

Join us for an enlightening research talk by Dr. Granger. He will be presenting a staged reading of “Cane: A New Musical” – an original musical inspired by Jean Toomer’s Harlem Renaissance novel “Cane,” which only entered the public domain. He will also be introducing each of the dramatic selections, which are a mixture of dialogue scenes and songs in his project, and talk about his research/aesthetic approaches and where he is in the research project. Dr. Granger’s talk will be in the Crider Lounge on the second floor of Hamilton-Williams Campus Center. The presentation will take place on Feb. 28 at noon. This talk promises to be an inspiring exploration of excellence, diversity, and innovation in the pursuit of knowledge. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate and honor the achievements of Black researchers. All are welcome! Please RSVP here!
