Oct. 28 @ 6 p.m. – Horror Movie Viewing for Science

Participate in a research study on horror movies’ effects on Cortisol via saliva sampling while watching “Paranormal Activity 3.” The research is being conducted for a course project.

To participate, you must be at least 18 years old, be able to sit for an extended period, and watch a film that may include flashing lights, loud noises, and frightening imagery. You will be expected to hand your phone to the research leads for the duration of the film (to minimize distractions) and be asked to not eat or drink anything an hour before and during the experiment.
