Oct. 16 @ 2:10 p.m. – Meet the OWU Alum and Mountaineer Who Summited Everest

The Rock Climbing Club is hosting an event to hear from an OWU alum Doug Pierson ’92. As an amateur climber and mountaineer, Doug has summited Everest and Denali among other peaks. He will be sharing a slideshow presentation, and he wants to hear about students’ outdoor and climbing experiences and interests. This is a great opportunity to make a connection with an alum with experience in this field who wants to encourage OWU students’ pursuits. We will be meeting on Monday, Oct. 16 at 2:10 p.m. in HWCC 304.
