March 31 @ 4 p.m. – Wellness Week Walk with the Counselors

The Mental Wellness Walk raises awareness of the mental health resources available at Ohio Wesleyan University and in our community with the ultimate goal of ending the stigma around seeking help and making mental health care accessible for all. The walk is a public forum for normalizing conversations around mental health struggles so that all of us who need help can more easily access a qualified professional or peer for support. The walk is hosted by OWU Counseling Services and is open to OWU students, faculty, and staff.

Where: The walk will begin at historic Selby Stadium at 4:05 pm with a brief stop at the OWU Labyrinth to share a Mindfulness Moment with walkers. The walk will end on the JAY at the steps of Hamilton-Williams Campus Center. Upon completion participants will be gifted a Wellness Sensory Kit bag with grounding items.
