Our speaker, Professor Rowan Thomson, is a Canada Research Chair and professor of physics and is also assistant dean (equity, diversity, and inclusion) in the Faculty of Science at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She will be speaking about actions to advance equity, diversity, and inclusion in science. Professor Thomson will be joining us via Zoom.
