Please join us for an evening of beautiful and lively music. This voice recital will include repertoire by Black classical composers & arrangers such as H. Leslie Adams, Florence Price, Margaret Bonds, and Harry T. Burleigh as well as classical “staples” by Mozart, Barber, and Schumann. Recital is led by Angel Tyler, classical soprano and staff member at Ohio Wesleyan, and accompanied by Dr. Caroline Salido-Barta, faculty member and staff accompanist at Otterbein University. The recital is presented and made possible by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council through its grant program and the Ohio Wesleyan Performing Arts Department. The recital will be held on February 11 at 8 p.m. in Jemison Auditorium. Admission is free.
