Admission Office Summer Internship

The OWU Admission Office is seeking to fill three positions in our new Summer Intern Program for Summer 2023. The Summer Intern Program is a paid internship experience and provides robust and varied experiences within recruitment. Only OWU students are eligible to apply and they must be in good academic standing. Most importantly, students should demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for OWU and a strong desire to share that with various constituents (prospective students/families, school and independent counselors, etc.)

Key responsibilities may include:
Leading campus tours and live virtual tours
Serving on panels
Creating video and assisting with Social Media initiatives
Providing assistance with Admission events
Conducting market research
Assisting with the development of the Tour Guide Program, including planning regular and ongoing training, professional development opportunities and social activities
Engaging with various constituents in person, as well as via phone, email and text messaging
Analysis of and report development for specific recruitment initiatives
Managing special projects as assigned
Answering telephones and assisting callers with their needs
Training to give the Admission Presentation
Managing other administrative tasks as assigned
