Join the Ross Art Museum for a free-public reception on Sunday, Jan. 22, from 2-4 p.m. as we open two new exhibits.
Black Palimpsest: Jared Thorne explores the cultural commodification of African art objects in Western museums while asking how these same objects signify history, identity, and authenticity for many African Americans.
Ohio Imprint: Dick Arentz & Brian Harnetty reflects on place, history, and human impact in Ohio through photography, sound collage, and video installation.
Please note: the museum will be closed until Sunday, Jan. 22, for installation due to the recent power outage. Come meet the artists and enjoy tasty treats!
